Benedictine abbess and miracle worker. She was the daughter of Count Berthold of Andechs, in modem Bavaria, Germany. The count and his wife, Sophia, founded a monastery on their es�tate at Diessen, Bavaria, and placed Mechtildis there at the age of five. She became a Benedictine nun, and then abbess. In 1153 the bishop of Augsburg placed her in charge of Edelstetten Abbey. Mechtildis was revered for her mystical gifts and miracles. She died at Diessen on May 31.

Don't worry about a thing. Every little thing is gonna be all right.
I pray this prayer everyday! Thank you God for my family and friends. Thank you for what ever you know we can carry. Please provide comfort and reassurance to to those who may be weary. Please let all know they are loved. Amen.

Dear Saint,

Bless us the mortals with your knowledge and grace that we may be able to follow and live Jesus as you have done. Enlighten our hearts and mind to tune towards the most scared heart of Jesus. Though we are dust and to dust we return, let the light of Christ shine through our soul so that we may be able to endure any kind of suffering to inherit the eternal life. Fill our very being with the wisdom of Christ that we focus our complete attention towards the most Holy God who can redeem our souls and save us from hell. Kindly do a little miracle for me to strengthen my faith in His Body and Blood and to follow Him with my whole being. Amen.
