Joseph Barsabas is only a Blessed

One other fact: Saint Mary Salome is the daughter of Saint Cleophas, aka Clopas, aka Alphaeus, and whose wife is Saint Mary Cleophas. Saint Cleophas is the brother of Saint Joseph, and Cleophas's children included 3 Apostles: Saint Simon (Symeon), Saint James the Less, and Saint Jude (not Judas, the traitor). Another brother, Saint Joseph Barsabas, aka Joses, was not among the 12. The four brothers and their sister, Saint Mary Salome, then, are first cousin of Jesus on Joseph's side of the family; and the children of Saint Mary Salome are the 2nd counsins of Jesus. Mary Salome's son, John, is the Disciple Jesus Loved, and is Our Blessed Mother's great nephew by marriage.
