St. Livinus

Martyred Irish bishop, ordained by St. Augustine of Canterbury, England. He was the son of a Scottish noble and an Irish princess. Livinus and three companions went to Flanders, Belgium, where they evangelized the area. He was martyred near Clost, in Brabant. Also called Lebwin, he is identified by some scholars with St. Lebuinus.

    I believe you have the wrong year of martyrdom for St. Levinus. Ordained by Augustine of Canterbury--means that this was no later than 605 [Aug's death year, and more likely about 600 when Aug did his main work, this would leave too long a time for Levinus' life--who was martyred due to his preaching activities,]

    I prefer the year of 633--when his tongue was ripped out for his missionary work.
