St. Justus of Lyons Feastday: September 2 390 Bishop and recluse. He was born in Vivarais in Gaul and was made bishop of Lyons in 350. When a prisoner who had sought sanctuary in Justus’ cathedral was put to death, Justus left the Council of Aquileia and went to Alexandria, Egypt, with a deacon, Viator. He became a hermit there and refused to return to Lyons.

Saint Justus Lyon pray for us all; pray for all prisoners they take and torture today and the fiends who accomplish those evil deeds; pray for the growth of peace, Shalom, and love, Agape, in our world and an end to commercially generated hatreds and vile behaviors; pray for the openness, what Russians call "glasnost," and an end to secret dealings & the detriments of the environments & mind bending trances & obtuse lies; pray for the 12 Pearl Gates to appear to some so deserving, the gem clad walls and golden streets, the Throne Stream flowing and bringing relief, the towering bank trees with their life giving leaves, and quiet murmur of Angels, Saints, Lamb and Yahweh, Amen Sophia, have they an hermitage in Heaven I would to so there live, Selah, by the Stream Side of Yahweh where all leaves rustle and waters whisper, "Selah, Alleluia, Selah, Hosanna, Selah"
