Patron of Maastricht; invoked against foot troubles, lameness, rheumatism, rats, and mice
Died: 384

Bishop of Tongres (in the modern Low Countries), best known for having been the host of St. Athanasius during the latter’s exile from his see of Alexandria, Egypt. He was probably an Armenian. Servatus was active at the Council of Rimini in 359. He prophesied the Hun invasion of France in the mid-fifth century.

    I have the same question. Also, St. Servatius' feast day is shown as May 13, but he is not shown on that date in my Daily Missal, which is current. That date is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.

    I have the same question as Yvonne, about this saint as patron for foot problems. I haven't found anything so far in his life history that relates to feet. Can anyone answer this? Are there miracles attributed to him concerned with podiatry?

    i would like to know why st st servatus patron st of feet? what makes a saint a patron of a part of the body or an ailment.
