God Bless us al

What an inspiration. Both brother and sister die together and live together in heaven forever. May we also, by God's mercy also have the courage to bring our siblings to holiness, to a point whereas we die to sin with them by our side.
Dear Sts. Sarbelius & Barbea, Please pray for us to be steadfast in faith as you were. Thank You.
Dying a true martyr, as this incredible example of brother and sister did, is such an inspiration to us all. I so admire and, to an extent, am envious of them, in that, upon their death, have received the greastest reward any of us can. Eternal life with our loving Father. It would serve us all well to bear their courage and steadfast in mind as ww make our journey through our lives.
Dear Sts. Sarbelius and Barbea, you who suffered terrible, excruciating pain on being put to death, pray for us to have courage to depend on God during times of acute challenges. Jesus in today's Gospel of St. Mark, teaches the Jews with authority, and commands the evil spirit to leave a possessed man, in a quiet, gentle manner. People are struck by Jesus for these two reasons. Grant us the grace to be holy as you are holy. Help us in our prayer life. Temptations come in quiet, subtle ways. Dear Jesus be our armour, our strength. Help us to have an intimate relationship with the Father and to be fired by the Holy Spirit. I believe that God has called us to greater things. Help us to listen and respond to your call. Amen.
Oftentimes I read of dedicated Christians, children of our beloved Father, who love Him to such a wondrous degree that they give their lives for Him. And, in those contemplative moments, I see them. Hot irons, crucifiction, beheadment, unimaginable torture, et. al. I ask of myself if I am dedicated to my love for Him so much as they were, and if I will give of myself that which I have never doubted. Until lately. As my faith has grown, and I grow older, I wonder. I adore their faith. If only I could claim that dedication right now...as a mature child of Our Lord. I do love Him so...and I love them. Father, please help me trust in my faith. That is my prayer.
Thank you God for all your brave holy people. they put us to shame with their heroism. Blessed be God in all His Angels and Saints.
