Prayer of the Missal
O God, Who,
by the passion of Thine only-begotten Son,
and by the Blood shed through His five most sacred Wounds,
hast raised up mankind,
lost because of sin;
grant, we beseech Thee,
that we who on earth adore the Wounds our Saviour received,
may in heaven rejoice in the glory He,
at the price of His precious Blood,
hath bought back for us.
Through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
