Thank you Father, I was thinking what a wonderful thing to consider as we prepare for Lent - a former Pastor Fr. Dan Dooley (Archdiocese Philadelphia, now deceased) used to call the day after Thanks Giving "buy nothing day!" He challenged his congregation to say 'no' to materialism. You have done this here also, I wonder if those of us 'in the world' might challenge ourselves to 'buy nothing' for ourselves during Lent. For myself this will be challenging!
May the Immaculate under the title of Our Lady of Good Success grant you and all your brother FI priests deep joy and perseverance in your call. We need you all!
