Fr. Elias on the Presentation of the Lord where Our Lady,�who is the true temple,�brings the light of the world to the man made temple in Jerusalem.�Mary and Joseph fulfill the law of Moses that calls for the purification after a baby is born. Jesus is the true�fulfillment�of the old law and brings it to a close and ushers in a new Covenant that gives us the light which reveals God to us and reconciles us with Him, purifying the New Israel. Fr. Elias�contrasts�this to the darkness of the modern culture of death. Ave Maria!
