In 1531 Juan Diego found himself between the world of the spanish conquistadors and the world of his own aztec origins. Because of his great love for his people, he prayed that Jesus and Mary would unite them. The answer to Juan's prayer is one of the most important events in the story of the Americas: Our Lady of Guadalupe. Juan Diego, Messenger of Guadalupe is the true story of how the Blessed Mother chose a hero for a key role in a beautiful miracle that would unite diverse peoples and change the course of history. In the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, the miracle of Tilma of Juan Diego may still be seen, just as it was seen by the Bishop in 1531.
