Catholic Cooking Show Hits The Air

WATERTOWN, MA (DECEMBER 15, 2008) - CatholicTV is now airing a new cooking show, "Our Daily Bread", hosted by a priest named Fr. Paul D. Seil. Each week, Fr. Paul cooks with a different guest. During an average episode, viewers might learn how to cook Polish cuisine with a side of Immaculate Conception to go. Cooking show addicts now have a place to learn new recipes and to grow closer to God at the same time. Any person who wants to learn how to cook a savory meatloaf while serving up religious brilliance to the family simultaneously should watch the show.

Our Daily Bread is produced by Daybreak TV in the Diocese of Buffalo , New York. Guests on the show range from nuns and priests to lay parishioners. During some shows, Fr. Paul visits various charitable organizations such as Meals on Wheels and cooks with organization members.

Regarding the show, Fr Paul said, "Our show is a subtle way of bringing the Good News into people's lives by sharing simple stories and recipes that speak of the depth of human experience. The more we grasp our human experience, the more readily we can open ourselves to the Divine". Not only is Fr. Seil a good cook, he is also an experienced teacher of the Catholic faith.

The show can be seen on CatholicTV where available on Mondays at 1:30P.M., Fridays at 11:30A.M., and Sundays at 6:30A.M.. Our Daily Bread can also be seen at the same times online at CatholicTV.com. The show can be viewed on the website full-screen.
