LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The murderous terrorists especially favor and rejoice in attacks during the holidays.
In 2015, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik opened fire on a San Bernardino Christmas Party and in 2016, Anis Amri initiated a truck attack at Berlin's Christmas market.
"The Specter of Terrorism," a poster released by the Wafa' Media Foundation stated in English, "You will pay very expensive price for your war on Islam."
"We will take revenge for the blood of Muslims on your land, we will kill the young before the older watch this."
The Vatican attack propaganda shows a masked person sitting in the driver's seat of a BMW approaching St. Peter's Basilica with multiple weapons in the passenger seat, including a rifle, a handgun and a backpack.
Islamic State poster threatens the Vatican.
"O worshippers of the cross in USA," a separate poster labeled "Manhattan" stated. "Our lone wolves will come to you from where you do not know and we will terrorize you wherever you are and we will show you multitudes of terror and pain that you showed to the Muslims, and what is coming is more bitter and greater."
The "Manhattan" poster shows skyscrapers engulfed in flames crumbling to the ground with a semi-truck in view.
Although similar threats to both the United States and the Vatican have occurred prior to these most recent intimidations, the foreboding peril should not be taken lightly.
In the Philippines, an attack on a church showed images of Pope Francis being taunted with a gun to the head and artifacts of Jesus and Mary were defiled on camera.
The jihadists vowed they would seek further revenge and would soon enter Rome.
"There is no doubt that if Muslims want to take over Italy, the Islamic State European fighters will have to ally with other militias to fight the Mafia before the conquest of Rome," detailed ISIS magazine Rumiyah (Rome)'s e-book.
PRAY with us for the safety of Pope Francis and all the faithful who may cross paths with the savage men working for ISIS.
May the three enfold you
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Hold you safe and hold you strong
May the three encompass you
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Encircle your life each day and night
May the three protect you
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Guard your door and keep each gate
May the three watch over you
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Still your heart and calm all fear
