Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Mexican and U.S. authorities arrested Dara Marie Llorens in a small town between Mexico City and Puebla, and Llorens will be deported to Travis County in Texas to face charges, reported Dan Powers, an FBI agent in San Antonio.

Combat corruption with moral education; send a Bible to a child, or another person in need.

Greg Allen was unable to contain himself when he learned that his daughter had been found.

The 17-year-old had endured so much emotional trauma-her mother repeatedly told her that Greg was a bad man and a wife beater-that she's now under the care of a clinical psychologist in Texas.

Allen began the search for his daughter after she was taken in April 2002, after her mother fled with her while she had access during a weekend visitation.

He started a website dedicated to finding his daughter (FindSabrina.org) and offered a $20,000 reward. He also hired a private investigator and was incredibly vocal in his campaign to be reunited with his daughter.

"I was Ahab and the white whale. I was not going to survive," Allen said. "I've had people say, "Of course, she's with her mother; what's the big deal?'

Sabrina has not been in school yet, and while physically healthy, she must undergo a mental evaluation before her father can see her.

"I haven't gotten to see her yet," Greg said on October 1.

"She's in pretty bad shape, from my understanding," he said. "She's just not ready to see me and my family. I hope and pray that's coming soon, and I can't predict it."

The 12-year hunt was long and painful for Greg.

"It's a long road. You don't know what the outcome is," Allen said. "I told myself the hardest thing to learn was that I could have a life while looking for her."

When Sabrina is actually reunited with her father, she will also meet a new family, Greg's wife and children, whom have heard so much about her.

"We hope to have her home as soon as possible," Allen said.
