How did Jesus really feel about money?
FREE Catholic Classes
Dating back from centuries ago, Jesus has had a lot to say on what should we do with money and how to treat it rightfully, according to the Bible. His teachings revolve around the role of money and other material possessions, in aspects of family relations, management, diligence and exercise of wisdom.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Jesus' teachings also pertain to our stewardship and sharing among each other in fulfillment of essential needs and the misuse in order to coerce and manipulate other people.
According to 2 Timothy 13:6, "All Scripture is God-breathed, and is used for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Material possessions should be used to support the church and meet the family's most important needs, as Jesus taught through books of Luke, Matthew, Mark, Timothy and the Thessalonians.
Keep a rosary always within your reach. Find the perfect rosaries for home, work and parish.
The importance of careful money management and intelligent purchasing is taught on Luke 14:28-30, using the analogy of wanting to build a tower but should first estimate the cost in pursuance.
Long-term financial gain and security is also taught to have great importance in our service to God. In Matthew 13:12, it is said that "Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him."
Likewise, Jesus taught that people should not fully depend on their material wealth but on God, and trusting Him to meet the family's essential needs.
He even emphasized that people should not hoard the resources for just our own benefit, rather we should use them in helping others as stewards of His will for above all, everything should be used in fulfilling God's work.
