We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Crews, who was originally a football player, is a known Christian and his moral values are often seen on the silver screen.

From time to time his Twitter includes faith-filled messages, such as: "Happy to be saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost! God is good and has always been! Thanks to Him for EVERYTHING!"

Crews is now a famous actor but his life isn't all gold and diamonds.

As a kid, Crews grew up in a strict Christian home with an alcoholic father, the details of which can be found in his memoir "Manhood: How to Be a Better Man-Or Just Live With One."

At only 12-years-old, he became severely addicted to pornography that nearly ruined his marriage later in life. With help from God, Crews was able to sever ties with his demon and was reunited with his wife, Christian recording artist and former beauty queen Rebecca King-Crews.

The actor took to Twitter to announce he would be hosting the Movieguide Awards, where the gala will honor directors, producers and writers of moral films and TV programs.

Movieguide founder, Dr. Ted Baehr, explained: "Terry's commitment to family, both on and off the screen, makes him the perfect host for a movie awards show.

"We're absolutely thrilled to have Terry host the Movieguide Awards, which means so much to millions of families across the country.

To see the show, tune in on Easter Sunday.
