I am Abba Solomon, anchorite. I was a hermit for 50 years in a cave at Antinoe, Kemet (Thebaid). I traveled the monasteries of the Thebaid, living at Antinoe some 40 years, but 50 years in the cave, myself.
More than 2000 followed the life of the monks there. Many lived and worshipped God in the rock caves. They worked with their hands, in a spiritual existence for God. I memorized the Bible. Coptic Calendar.
