Ghirelli S.r.l., known throughout Europe for designing rosaries for Marian shrines, as well as the Vatican, sees its involvement with the World Meeting of Families 2015 in Philadelphia as a tremendous opportunity to broaden the Ghirelli name further into the U.S. market. Each of the more than 140,000 rosaries Ghirelli created for the World Meeting of Families are hand made in Italy and incorporate elements from the event's branding - including the unique "bell" logo and the Holy Family portrait icon - in precise detail. The rosary crucifixes and centerpieces are made from a metal alloy, finished in antique silver and gold, and bead varieties include Italian wood, Bohemian glass and Swarovski crystal in many sizes, shapes and colors.
