There seems to be trauma and mistrust surrounding ALL the employees. Am I the person to lift them out of this deep hole? Can I help the community and together with them serve well? I am trying to identify all the issues. The staff has been open and honest, but this is a BIG job with many varying needs. Please guide me toward or away from this circumstance. Terri, 10/17/2023 - My son Brandon really needs prayers. He's scared to death about his upcoming surgery. He is 37 and has a mixed IPMN on his pancreas which is the type that has a high probability of turning into cancer. They will be taking out part of his pancreas, bile, gallbladder, and duodenum. He'll probably be in the hospital 10 days and then there's a two-month period of recovery.
I've never seen him like this before. He goes from being down and depressed to being frantic and scared to being okay and then goes through the whole pattern again. He's also questioning God and whether there really is anything after death. He stopped going to church a few years ago. He doesn't believe that there's anything after death and that scares them even more. He really needs prayers. Thank you.
