We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The new phone is considered a major upgrade. It includes the ability to run on GSM and CDMA networks has a faster dual core processor, and an eight megapixel camera. It even comes with a software program that serves as a virtual assistant.
Sprint will be getting in the iPhone for the first time and will now join AT&T and Verizon Wireless as carriers who sell the popular phone.

According to Apple, the phone will be available for pre-order online beginning October 7. The phone itself will be available on October 14 in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK. The phone will cost only $199 for a 16 GB model, $299 for 32 G,B and $399 for the 64 GB version.

The new device was unveiled by Apple CEO Tim Cook and his fellow executives along with revamped iPod touch devices at a special event at the company headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The iPhone 4S has the same design as the iPhone 4, however Apple says the phone is completely redesigned on the inside.

Cook explained that the new iPhone is powered by the same chip that runs the iPad 2 tablet computer. He said it has twice the processing power of the iPhone 4, and has seven times faster graphics. The phone is also capable of shooting photos twice as fast as the iPhone 4.

In addition to the integrated hardware, the new iPhone has a program called, "Notification Center," which helps users to view and manage all their notifications from one screen. It also runs iMessage, which allows users to send text messages, photos and videos.

Also part of the iPhone4S package is the iCloud. The iCloud will allow users to store their music, photos, applications, contracts, calendars, documents, and other material online and sync them across all of their Apple devices.

The phone also features a new application called, "Siri." This application will allow users to control the phone using their voice.

Apple's shares fell once it became clear they were not unveiling an iPhone 5, as expected. However, shares rebounded as many people realized the redesigned iPhone 4S is essentially an entirely new device with substantial new features.
