LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - President Trump's first year accomplishments have been listed on the White House website and reported in the media. The Washington Examiner also posted a list of 81 accomplishments.

Among those accomplishments is a major pro-life victory. In his first week in office, President Trump eliminated $9 billion in foreign aid that was used to finance abortions. This cut not only saved billions, it also saved lives, possible millions around the globe. Most people fail to recognize that a silent holocaust is constantly ongoing in the form of abortion. He also worked to remove an Obama regulation that forced states to finance abortion providers. Trump's actions are a victory for the pro-life movement. But there remains work to do.

In addition to his pro-life win, the President has won key victories, particularly in the judicial branch. Judicial appointments are important because they can have a long-lasting effect. His most critical appointment is the elevation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. He has also appointed 73 other federal judges.

Among other successes, the President has established new ethical standards for Congress including a ban on lobbying, an overhaul of the executive branch, which is pending, and a full audit of the Pentagon.

In public safety, the President has put more police on the streets, and led a crackdown on violent criminal gangs and the opioid crisis. Opioids have not only been killing people, they have also depressed the economy since many workers can't pass drug tests.

Immigration policies have been overhauled, ending the catch and release of illegal immigrants. Now, deportations are up. He has also cracked down on sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities on illegal immigration. He has started on the construction of the border wall with Mexico which will make immigration enforcement easier.

President Trump has also boosted U.S. energy independence, adopting pro-energy policies which have put Americans back to work.

Speaking of work, more Americans are back to work, thanks to the elimination of job-killing regulations and deals. The tax reform bill he passed is expected to create even more jobs.

Unemployment is down to 4.1 percent, and GDP increases remain above 3 percent. The economy is booming.

The list contains 81 points, and there are arguably well over 100 more that could be included. Given the impressive list, the President is entitled to some days off, since he is working hard to make America great.
