He's a promise keeper! Trump makes good to build wall and secure immigration

President Trump is keeping his pledges to the American people.

President Trump continues to forge ahead with work, issuing new orders to begin construction of the border wall, and to ban immigration from countries with people who could pose a danger to the United States.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) -- The orders keep coming. President Trump has issued orders to begin construction of a border wall with Mexico. He also ordered that sanctions be pursued against cities that refuse to hand over illegal immigrants to federal officials for deportation. He has also ordered that immigration be stopped from some countries.

Immigration from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen are being stopped for at least 30 days as officials draw up new visa procedures that will add more security to the process. President Trump wants all potential arrivals to be scrutinized for terrorist ties.

President Trump also planned on Wednesday to meet with several 'Angel Moms,' mothers whose children were killed by illegal immigrants.

These actions are taking place a week before Trump is scheduled to meet with Mexican President, Enrique Pena Nieto.

House Republicans say they want to fund the border wall, which they believe will enhance national security and diminish illegal immigration into the states. Trump also pledged to triple the number of border agents.
