We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - George P. Bush has endorsed Donald Trump. George P. is Jeb Bush's son. Despite the close connection and the acrimonious contest between Donald and Jeb, George P. is endorsing Trump anyway.
In a meeting with party activists in Texas, George P. said, "From Team Bush, it's a bitter pill to swallow, but you know what? You get back up and you help the man that won, and you make sure that we stop Hillary Clinton."
George P. Bush, 40, is the Texas Land Commissioner. He was raised in Florida, but opted to make his political career in Texas where his father and grandfather could support him.
Jeb Bush remains firmly in the "Never Trump" constituency of the Republican Party. That group of Republicans has vowed never to vote for Trump, and some have even promised to support his rival, Hillary Clinton instead.
The Never Trump movement has divided the Republican Party, which has mostly coalesced around Trump. While Trump is behind in the polls, he is close to Clinton and represents the best chance Republicans have at regaining the White House. The next president may also appoint up to three new Supreme Court justices.
The stakes are so high, even Republicans who don't prefer Trump are backing him publicly.
Republicans who refuse to back Trump risk the candidate's ire, as well as the wrath of their voters. Those few who have refused to support the people's choice for nominee may not be reelcted to their offices.
