We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >
Nothing better to do? Obama opens all school restrooms to all people regardless of sex
FREE Catholic Classes
Somewhere in the Constitution is a clause that directs the president to tell people which bathroom they can use. We're certain of it. Or at least, the Obama administration is sure of it, because they are preparing to make every school restroom in the country a battleground.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - A letter is set to go out today to every school district in the U.S. from the Obama administration. The edict is to allow all students to use the restroom of their choice, regardless of their biological sex.
Both Justice Department and Education Department officials have signed the letter. Schools that refuse to comply could lose federal aid or even be sued.
The policy is expected to be duplicated on college campuses and may soon be duplicated across the public sector.
Across the U.S., states have been working on various "bathroom bills" requiring people to use the restroom that corresponds to the gender specification of their birth. Their goal is to ensure people feels safe using public restrooms. These bills have identified transgendered people as the threat, however this may be inaccurate.
Transgendered people have been using the restrooms that correlate to their chosen identity for a very long time and there have been very few or no incidents.
Public safety issues in restrooms almost always arise when a heterosexual person invades the wrong restroom for the purpose of gaining access to victims. However, liberal restroom policies, which advertise that people may use any restroom they wish, exacerbate these problems as perverts become aware they can exploit these policies to victimize others.
Ultimately, if a person invades another person's privacy in a restroom, this is a crime and the perpetrator, regardless of sex, or any other issues, should be prosecuted. And people should know which bathroom to use without needing a law to tell them. There is nobody who is going to check genders prior to entry.
The nation is beset with many significant issues including terrorism, economic woes, problems with our healthcare system, our tax code and many, many more concerns. The Obama administration, as well as the many well-meaning legislatures across the nation should concern themselves with these issues much more than whether a person should stand or sit while using the public restroom.
