We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Trump currently holds 673 delegates while Cruz trails behind at only 411.
There are 1,237 delegates required to secure the nomination and America continues to hold its breath as the delegate count continues.
Of the remaining delegates, Cruz needs to earn 88 percent if he is to beat Trump, who only needs 58 percent. After his wins in Florida, Illinois and North Carolina, Trump gave a victory speech in which he said: "I think we're going to have a great victory. This country is going to start winning again. We don't win anymore. ... We're going to win, win, win and we're not stopping."
What a horrifying notion.
Amid Trump's victory speeches, several critics have openly spoken against his candidacy, but until recently have gone unheard.
What makes Trump's likely nomination so terrifying is the amount of hatred he spreads, and encourages his supporters to spread as well.
Despite his continued Twitter attacks and passive-aggressive comments, Trump maintains he has not inspired violence from his supporters.
"I hope not, I truly hope not," Trump stated. "People come with tremendous passion and love for the country... and when they see what's going on in this country, they have anger that is unbelievable. They don't like seeing bad trade deals, they don't like seeing higher taxes, they don't like seeing a loss of their jobs.
"We have some protesters who are bad dudes. They have done bad things. They are swinging, they are really dangerous, and they get in there and they start hitting people."
Apparently, Trump sides with the bullies who support him and believes protesters are responsible for the violence seen at his rallies.
It doesn't even matter to the businessman that there has yet to be any evidence of protester-instigated violence at a single one of his hate-filled rallies.
