The Republican establishment is reeling after Marco Rubio's withdrawal from the GOP presidential race. Rubio announced he was quitting the race after losing his own home state, Florida, to GOP frontrunner, Donald Trump. The people are simply fed up with the Republican establishment and its bankrupt policies, but that's a good thing.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - The Republican Party was shaken up by the defeat of Mitt Romeny. Following the reelection of Obama, Republicans took a hard look at themselves and concluded they lacked diversity and were failing to inspire people.
To address the people's concerns, the GOP groomed candidates like Marco Rubio and ran him with a diverse set of contenders, including Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina. Despite these changes, they turned out to be too little, too late. Voters saw though the sham, and threw their support behind the anti-establishment candidate, Donald Trump.
Trump's greatest asset is that he isn't a Washington insider. The GOP has served monied interests for too long, while failing to tackle issues such as government spending and immigration. Indeed, it has been the Democrats, not the Republicans, who have shown more fiscal restrain the past four years as Obama's budgets continue to cut into the deficit.
The American worker on Main Street has not enjoyed the recovery from the Great Recession. Nor do they appreciate Republican obstructionism that has shut down the government over a budget battle, while illegal immigration, a lack of jobs and other problems more immediate to Main Street persist.
Americans don't care how well the stock market is booming if they are too broke to participate in it. They've realized that "free trade" agreements simply mean their jobs evaporate. And they're tired of limp-wristed, crybaby Washington insiders (Boehner, Obama) that won't stand up on important issues, or to foreign bullies.
Trump is the cure for what ails the American people. The man is not afraid of a fight, and he isn't afraid to back tough words with tough action. America wants a strong president for a change, and the likes of soft-spoken Marco Rubio or Ben Carson won't cut it. Fiorina was a spitfire, but even she lacked the sheer bravado of Donald Trump.
So, Marco Rubio has quit and with his demise the last great hope of the Republican establishment dies. This does not portend well for the insiders either. As freshmen politicos gather the courage to run, they will style themselves after insurgent candidates like Sanders and Trump and run campaigns against long-established incumbents, and win.
The news then, is all good for the Republican Party. While the establishment naturally laments its doom, we can trust it will be replaced by a younger, more vigorous Republican party. One that is more responsive to the middle class, is infused with the energy of youth, and truly aims to make America great again.
