The shocking end result from the 11th Republican debate: Who came out on top during another round of insults and jokes

John Kasich stands out for not joining arguments

The remaining four Republican candidates took to the stage for the 11th GOP debate on March 3. Similar to many of the other Republican debates, the night was full of insults and distractions.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The two-hour debate started with the now normal everyone-against-Donald-Trump-feeling, but surprisingly ended with Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich stating they would back Trump if he became the GOP nominee.

However, before the warm "kumbaya" moment, the majority of the candidates took aim at each other, with much of the debate becoming personal rather than political.

Trump took an immediate opportunity to seemingly boast about the size of his penis, after Rubio's "joke" days earlier about the size of Trump's hands. "I guarantee you, there's no problem. I guarantee you," stated Trump.

Later on, Rubio and Trump introduced nicknames for each other during a discussion on policy details when Trump exclaimed, "Don't worry about it, Little Marco," and Rubio responded, "Let's hear it, Big Donald."

"Megyn, let me just ask the voters at home: Is this the debate you want playing out in the general election?" expressed Cruz, after one of Rubio and Trump's battle rounds. However, Cruz did participate in the quarrels by giving Trump breathing lessons and claiming Trump is the villain America has been mad at.

"For 40 years, Donald has been part of the corruption in Washington that you're angry about," he said.

Fox News also took aim at the billionaire mogul, with real-time fact check tearing down Trump's every statement, including those on his strategies for eliminating the deficit.

During the debate, Trump made claims that he may have softened his stance on immigration and his "big wall plans," but wouldn't provide any greater detail, as it was part of an "off the record" interview with The New York Times.

"I will say that in immigration as well as with anything else, there has to be tug and pull. You have to be able to have some flexibility," he said. "I may have said something like that with The New York Times. But I am not going to release something off the record."

The night is being referred by many as "embarrassing." According to CNN and pollster Frank Luntz, "22 of 25 participants in the focus group he led Thursday night predicted the debate would hurt the GOP's chances in November."

"This has to stop. Seriously," Luntz tweeted.

However, the night allowed Kasich to prove that he will not be pulled into any of the immature debate practices boasted by his components.

"I've talked about issues. I have never tried to go and get into these kinda scrums that we're seeing here," he stated, taking time in the debate to demonstrate his pronounced experience on economic and budget challenges.

Although the 11th debate appears not to have changed much in the Republican race for the presidential nominee, there remains many opportunities in the coming days for an upset in the lineup. Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana and Maine are all set to vote this coming Saturday.
