LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - A Government Accountability Institute report shows that Obama has been skipping his intelligence briefings. Those briefings would provide him with critical information he needs to plan a coherent strategy against the nation's enemies, including the Islamic State.
This report has come to light after Obama's accusation that his intelligence aides failed him and the country. Obama said that Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper admitted to him that he underestimated the Islamic State. However, on record Clapper has warned the U.S. about the Islamic State.

It is apparent that President Obama has lies about the Islamic State and his lack of information. He has had good, substantive information at his disposal, but by skipping briefings he has left himself unprepared.
One intel official went on record, accusing the President of "bulls***ting."
Obama apparently now takes his intelligence briefings in writing, but there is no proof that he actually reads them or understands them. An Obama staffer told the Daily Mail that Obama began taking his briefings in writing as early as 2009.
That same staffer also warned that mentions of the Islamic State terrorist organization have been included in the President's briefings since before the 2012 elections.
A picture of Obama is emerging from the White House of a man who is out of touch and disengaged from his own staff. While presidents have a significant leeway over how they run their administration, their quirks and preferences have a very real national impact. In this case, Obama's lack of willingness to engage directly with the heads of various departments is creating a dangerous situation for the country.
The problem with reading his briefings is that he does not have an opportunity to ask questions and probe for further information. Instead, aides must guess what he wants to hear about most, and they must capture it all in writing. Reading from an iPad, the undoubtedly busy president may not read all that is written there.
If President Obama were the CEO of a major corporation, he would have been replaced long ago. Unfortunately, as leader of the free world and the most powerful single man on Earth, he isn't' going anywhere for at least two more years.
Which is fine, if you don't mind the sound of playing while Rome burns.
