Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

Washington, DC (Catholic Online)- Political Pundits have been buzzing since the early hours on this, the last "Super Tuesday" of the long combative race for the Democratic Presidential nomination.

From Politico.com to the vast world of aggregated news provided by the Drudge Report on the internet, throughout all of the various traditional news networks with their talking heads giving prognostications, the story wasthe same.

The Associated press led the way, reporting that Senator Hillary Clinton would acknowledge this Tuesday evening that her rival, in what has certainly been a "nail biter" of a Primary campaign for the Democrats, Senator Barack Obama, has enough delegates to secure the Nomination of the Democratic Party for the Presidency of the Unites States of America.

Two Senior Sources in the Clinton campaign staff had let talking points be disbursed throughout most of the major news venues. However, the Campaign now vigorously denies the report.

The word on the "street" was that Senator Clinton would not suspend or end her candidacy this evening in New York City where she is scheduled to speak.

Rather, that she would passionately argue that she has every intention of continuing to champion the causes that she believes in, such as her approach to providing Universal Health care Coverage.

However, the reports were also that she would acknowledge the inevitable conclusion. The 2008 Democratic Primary Campaign will soon be over. Senator Barack Obama will be the nominee of the Democratic Party in the General Election.

That report is now the subject of a strong denial from the Clinton Campaign.

Further details have been coming in which seem to support the earlier report. For example, a recent report indicated that the Campaign staff would be let go and paid through June 15, 2008.

The Chairman of the Clinton Campaign, Terry McAuliffe indicated to the Press early Tuesday morning that, after the primaries conclude this evening in Montana and South Dakota, "I think Hillary Clinton will congratulate him and call him the nominee."

On this last "Super Tuesday" of the Democratic Campaign, this story is likely to undergo continual permutations throughout the day. This is a Primary campaign that has been filled with unexpected turns in the road.

However, there is little doubt that the end of that road is in sight.
