WASHINGTON (Catholic Online) - Senator Barack Obama won a majority of the twelve more delegates offered by the Wyoming Caucus and bragging rights for another primary. With 95 percent of the precints reporting, he has taken almost 60 percent of the vote.
Obama has performed better in the caucuses, winning thirteen to Clinton's three. Both candidates worked hard for the past five days to establish a foothold in the state. Obama also won other mountain-west races in Idaho, Utah, and Colorado.
Clinton will probably be setting her sights more on Pennsylvania for delegate help, the final contest in the primary cycle. The next one, however, is Mississippi, which has a strong leaning to her opponent.
Neither candidate will be able to secure enough delegates to secure the nomination from the primaries alone. The two biggest stories to follow will be the Super Delegate vote as well as the final disposition of Florida and Michigan delegates. The latter could end up to be the most important issue facing the candidates.
