LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Justice Department lawyers filed a motion on Monday in a Phoenix federal court, to drop the case against Marc Turi, and American arms dealer they accused of selling weapons to Libyan rebels.
Perhaps by chance, the Obama administration very conveniently stored weapons for Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in the super-secret, safe storage locker that is Libya.
However, the evil Marc Turi managed to talk his way past guards and without any permission at all, stole the weapons and sold them to Libyan rebels. At least, that's how the Obama administration would like the Hollywood script to read.
The reality is that Marc Turi was contracted by the Obama administration to sell the weapons to the rebels. And the whole thing was orchestrated by Hillary Clinton, who would really like to be president right now.
Unfortunately, the timing of the case and the discovery motion has proved painful for the administration. Had the case proceeded on time, Trui would be able to tell the truth. The truth is, the Obama administration, working though Hillary Clinton's State Department, hatched a plan to sell weapons to Libyan rebels.
When the relationship between Turi and the State Department collapsed on some level, Turi was arrested and charged with a crime. But he knew too much, as the Department of Justice learned during recent discovery hearings.
Turi's lawyers made clear during hearings that the arms were always destined for the rebels.
American arms have been found in possession of Libyan rebels. However, there is no official link between the Obama administration and those arms. At least not yet.
And there may not be, if Turi never speaks. A $200,000 civil penalty will be waived as long as Turi remains silent.
Obviously, the Obama administration is attempting to cover up its criminal involvement in Libya. It was also engaged in arms trafficking through Clinton's State Department. Clinton used private dealers to make the transactions and keep them secret. It's unknowable how much money changed hands and who profited in the exchanges. We can guess the Clinton Foundation had a good day.
There are massive quantities of evidence linking the Clinton State Department and the Obama administration to criminal activities around the world. There is widespread evidence of corruption and disregard for national security, the law, and fraud. However, the policing organization, the Department of Justice, answers to President Obama. The fox is guarding the hen-house.
As a result, all this information only comes to public knowledge through leaks. These leaks are often incomplete and the legal process can take months to years. By the time a case has been built, the political climate has changed.
Our elected officials know this and they use the slow pace of investigation and the corrupted justice system to their advantage.
Our only defense is to spread the truth in the face of the lies and vote these people out of office. We cannot prosecute them, and we can barely vote against them since they use controlled opposition and clever schemes to cheat. However, if our democracy is to survive we need to unify and demand change.
Thanks to Obama and Clinton, the world is less safe.
