We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

It seems we can't trust Democrats with cybersecurity.

Russian hackers have hacked into the DNC's computers and have been stealing information for over a year. Included in their theft are files on opposition candidate Donald Trump. They have also been monitoring DNC email and traffic.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - The cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has revealed that Russian hackers have been reading Democratic National Committee emails for over a year and have stolen sensitive internal files including their homework on Donald Trump.

The breech happened last summer and has been ongoing ever since, the firm told the media.

A second, more surgical breech in April resulted in the theft of their files on Donald Trump. CrowdStrike believes the breeches are two separate attacks by different groups.

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz has reassured people that they have responded to the intrusion and that their data is now secure.

It is unknown if the hackers have ties to the Russian government or if they will sell or use the information they stole. It is likely they intend to use the information is some way, possibly to inform their intelligence services, or they could sell data to the DNC's opposition.

Russia has already suggested they do not like the idea of a Hillary Clinton presidency, and has threatened to release stolen emails that could implicate Clinton under the Espionage Act. Those emails are expected to be released via WikiLeaks, which itself has already published over 30,000 of her emails to date.
