MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - In the 10-minute video, the extremist group claimed that they were back in America and would be the cause of fresh attacks involving "cars full of explosives and suicide bombers."
The video showed pictures of Osama bin Laden alongside images of the burning Twin Towers. Part of the footage quoted the terrorist saying, "Every Muslim, from the moment they realize the distinction in their hearts, hates Americans, hates Jews, and hates Christians."
At one point, the Al Qaeda leader was also noted as saying, "For as long as I can remember, I have felt tormented and at war, and have felt hatred and animosity for Americans."
Aside from bin Laden's quotes, the video showed images of an Islamic "Cyber Army," with its members namely, Hacker Aldmar, Dr. ISIS and Syria Virus. At one point in the footage, it showed extremists fighting and displayed song lyrics, "The soldiers of Allah are ready."
Later in the short film, a banner was shown saying, "We will repeat September 11 and we will send cars full of explosives and suicide bombers." These threats were repeated on two Twitter accounts.
The film was released a day after an audio recording of the Al Qaeda leader emerged, where he made a call to arms. The leader, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, delivered a message to the young Muslim men in the U.S. and other Western countries, asking them to carry out attacks in their home countries. Aside from this, he also encouraged military groups across the world to create a stronger unity within their jihads.
