Little girl looking Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. 'They want their freedom of religion and their freedom of speech'

People flocked to the South Carolina statehouse lawn to advocate the defunding of Planned Parenthood and reversal of the legalization of same-sex marriages.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The pro-traditional family and pro-life demonstration in South Carolina was attended by thousands in support for the defunding of Planned Parenthood and reversal of the same-sex marriage law by the Supreme Court, as reported by The Blaze.

Texas Senator and 2016 Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz also graced the demonstration with his presence, said WIS-TV.

He warned the United States could become like Iran, saying, "This is the world we're living in ... You want to know how bad it can get ... we had Naghmeh Abedini, the wife of Saeed Abedini, an American citizen, a Christian pastor, sentenced to eight years in prison in Iran for the crime of preaching the Gospel."

David Gibbs of the National Center for Life and Liberty was also present. He expressed, "They want their rights protected. They want their freedom of religion and freedom of speech to be honored as it has been since the founding of our nation."

Months ago, the passing of the same-sex marriage bill made headlines around the world, sparking outrage from pro-traditional marriage advocates and met with strong opposition by the Church.

One demonstrator commented, "A lot of laws that have been passed are not biblical. And that's the most important thing to stand on."

One woman in attendance said, "It's a blessing that there are Christians here in America that are standing up for God."

In related news, Planned Parenthood made headlines for allegedly using tissue donations to attract women considering abortion. Clinic workers discussed illegal trading of aborted fetal body parts that are said to be recorded in a Planned Parenthood video, as reported by The Blaze.

Pro-life group Silent No More just released reports about Planned Parenthood, an initiative to request that Congress defund the organization for the practice of unethical procedures. Officials at Planned Parenthood defend their organization, stating that the reports were just malicious attacks against them by pro-life groups.
