Strange drones flying closely above airplanes strike fear in pilots and passengers

Within three days, a third drone was reportedly spotted flying near an airplane above John F. Kennedy International Airport, according to CBS New York. The latest sighting happened Sunday night, reported the pilot manning the flight. Accidents may be up in the air, if these drones are carelessly flown into "no flight zones." Warning that these drones can be sucked up by airplane engines are scaring aircraft authorities, pilots and passengers.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the third drone was spotted by the pilot on the left side of the plane at about 6 p.m., as a Shuttle America flight from Richmond, Virginia was approaching the runway.
It was just Friday when the first two were spotted by pilots flying for Delta. At 2:30 p.m., and Jet Blue, around 5 p.m., which reportedly was a close encounter. Both planes landed safely with no evasive actions committed.
The FAA and the Port Authority police are investigating the sightings. "The FAA has to act and toughen up the rules before a tragedy occurs because if a drone were sucked into a jet engine of a plane filled with passengers untold tragedy could result and we do not, do not, do not want that to happen," stated Senator Charles Schumer.
The senator is urging the order of installment of Geo-fencing technology onto the unmanned drones, automatically prohibiting them to be operated in the danger zones. Lou Young from CBS2 reported that larger, metal-constructed drones pose the same danger as the bird strikes that made the US Airways 1549 drop into the Hudson River, about six years ago, according to explanations of aviation experts.
Calls for universal installments to avoid tragedies were made, as less trained drone users are growing in numbers.
