In the man's house, police found a massive amount of cash and weapons.

A man was found dead and decomposing inside his car, parked in a neighborhood in Southern California last Friday. Apparently, he had already been dead for two weeks when he was discovered.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - CBS Sacramento Local reported that five days after the discovery, police found more than 1,200 guns, scopes, 6.5 tons of ammunition, bows and arrows, knives, machetes and $230,000 in cash in the man's home, along with an underwater-driving capable Toyota SUV.

Criminal defense lawyer Atty. Harland Braun stepped out to represent Catherine Nebron, the fiancee of Jeffrey Alan Lash, the mystery man. According to Braun, it was Ms. Nebron that parked the car in the street near their condo. The two were reportedly together for 17 years, and she identified Mr. Lash as an undercover operative working for multiple government agencies that were not named.

"The story itself sounds totally crazy but then how do you explain all this? There's no evidence he was a drug dealer or he stole these weapons, or had any criminal source of income, no stolen property, all the stuff you'd look for," said Atty. Braun to CBS Sacramento.

He added that the couple were together with two other friends in a supermarket, early July 4, when Lash started to feel hot and experienced trouble breathing. They tried to cool him down for about three hours; he didn't want to call 911 or go to a hospital.

Lash reportedly told Nebron that government agencies would come to take care of his body, as well as everything mysterious in the house, so they left distraught. The LAPD confirmed that there were no indications of any foul play on the scene, but the cause of death is still deferred.
