Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >
The Obama Administration to bring waves of immigrants to refugee settlements in the United States
FREE Catholic Classes
The Obama administration is no less than discreet. From the "Strengthening Communities by Welcoming All Residents: A Federal Strategic Action Plan on Immigrant and Refugee Immigration" report from the White House Task Force on New Americans, certain clues and signs that they have chosen areas have been included. In the report by the WND, these signs are coated with words and statements that positively correlates the influx of migrants to the progress of the selected communities.

Due to a more in-depth effect of migration, both on the migrants and the residents, the task force has aligned to do activities that will enhance the acceptance and participation of its stakeholders on the issue. In their letter to the president, it says
"Critical to the success of our implementation efforts are maintaining a continued, coordinated effort across the federal government as well as an open dialogue with stakeholders. None of this can, nor should, be done by the federal government alone. The pillars of civic, economic, and linguistic integration cannot be supported without the collaboration of state and local governments, the nonprofit and private sectors, schools, philanthropic organizations, community-based organizations, immigrant- and refugee-serving organizations, religious institutions, and private citizens. Only with a sustained effort from all of us can we ensure that the integration of new Americans remains a national priority."
WND pointed out there could be simple things, like a billboard flashing the important contributions of migrants and refugees or a radio/TV advertisement airing the same point of view.
Coming across could be the local government units doing celebratory proclamations or events that highlights the welcoming of immigrants as part of the anticipated progress inline with cultural diversification and cited economic benefits.
The site also pointed out that the local library could be hosting a project emphasizing on the stories honoring the roles of the migrants and the wonderfulness of the cultural diversity they add.
All part of the euphemistic approach that penetrates the mindset of the locals, making it easier to introduce the influx of immigrants as part of the administration's project, it says. The strategy is to "water the soil" and plant the seedlings, stated on their report last week, which is part of the overall plan in transforming America with the New Americans.
Although it seems that the plan is working out for more progressive developments, some critics argue that this will only make the burden heavier because of the quality of immigrants the U.S. is planning to take in.
Reportedly, most of them are being employed with blue-collar jobs and manual labors. They will also need to be supported with food stamps and other subsidies due to the low-wage income they are given. Yet, the government is optimistic about the plans and working strategy, including stakeholders' participation.
