Islamic State militants continue to push terror down on Yazidis, a minority group in Iraq. Since 2014, jihadists have continuously kidnapped the Yazidi women and children to turn them into sex slaves to be exchanged across the caliphate. It is believed over 3,000 of them remain in captivity.
Yazidi sex slaves have been forced to endure the most unimaginable things.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Horrific, first-hand stories from survivors have painted the disturbing picture of experiences as ISIS sex slaves.
In a recent interview with the Egyptian TV channel, Extra News, Iraqi politician MP Vian Dakhill described in detail some of the things she heard from the sex slaves.
"One of the women whom we managed to retrieve from ISIS said that she was held in a cellar for three days without food or water," stated Dakhill. "Afterwards, they brought her a plate of rice and meat. She ate the food because she was very hungry."
"When she was finished they said to her: 'We cooked your one-year-old son that we took from you, and this is what you just ate.'"
According to the Daily Mail, ISIS sees the Yazidis as devil worshippers since they are neither Arab nor Muslim. They use this as their reasons for carrying out massacres and sex crimes against the minority.
Dakhill's harrowing accounts continued when she opened up about a learning of a 10-year-old girl who was raped to death in front of her own father and sisters.
"One of the girls said that they took six of her sisters," she expressed. "Her younger sister, a ten-year-old girl, was raped to death in front of her father and sisters. She was ten-years-old."
"The question that we ask yourselves is: 'Why? Why did these savages do this to us?'."
That is one of the most important unanswered questions... Why?
Why are these terrorists carrying out such horrific acts on women and children? Why haven't they been completely stopped?
Although there have been coalitions initiated against the Islamic State, more still needs to be done. Together, we pray for peace in the Middle East. We pray the Yazidis find a safe release. We pray the escaped sex slaves turn to God and find refuge in His love.
