LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The gruesome 34-minute video reveals life as a Cub of the Caliphate.
Boys as young as nine-years-old are trained to believe human life outside ISIS is worth nothing. They are raised to hate all but their own and trained to kill without remorse.
The video originated from "Wilayat Raqqa," or "the State of Raqqa." Boys between nine and 13-years-old are filmed participating in military training exercises and sleeping in army-like bunks.
A Jihad wakes them in the wee hours of morning and they head straight to a Quaran class.
The boys later train by crawling through brush while carrying their rifles, snipping through a barbed-wire fence to reach a training compound full of dummy targets and engaging in a variety of exercises.
During their lunches, the boys watch ISIS films and trainers are always nearby.
The video revealed children with rifles pledging their allegiance to ISIS and one boy has his arm in a cast. He is not the only child with wounds but all participate regardless.
The boys then go on a mock mission to an abandoned building with bound targets. One "target" is labeled "PKK."
The acronym is for the Partiya KarkerĂŞn KurdistanĂŞ," the Kurdistan Workers' Party. It is currently a major force fighting ISIS on the front lines.
The boys rush from room to room, guns drawn and ready to shoot. As the victims are discovered one by one, the boys shoot them down, then add an extra bullet to the head to ensure a kill.
Near the end of the video, one prisoner chooses to jump from the roof, rather than die by a boy. The child who cornered him goes down the stairs and shoots the man in the head anyway.
Sadly, this is not the first execution video featuring children. ISIS continues to poison the minds of young boys and demands its women to be submissive.
Please pray for change and for an end to ISIS' powers.
