We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

Is the whole world blind? Girls are raped and boys are tortured - Does no one care?

Christians are tortured and killed in the Middle East, but why should America care, right?

Two Christian siblings were attacked in Pakistan by a gang of Muslims who attempted to convert the teens to Islam. When the brother and sister refused, the gang attacked them.

News of such attacks are normal in the Middle East -so normal that the rest of the world looks on as countless Christians fall prey to injustice in the name of Allah. But why SHOULD anyone care? It's not like it's happening in the U.S...

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Alright, lets be honest. Yes, Christians ARE persecuted in the United States, but no one talks about it because it seems no one really cares about Christians, except other Christians.

Why should they? So long as they're not being persecuted, who cares about those moral Christians? But oh, let's talk about the REALLY important stuff like racism, social injustice, organic produce and the obesity epidemic.

Black Lives Matter, remember to recycle and fight for transgender equality! But no! Don't talk about religious rights, Christian persecution, the genocide happening in the Middle East of a group of people who preach peace, or the unspeakable horrors a religious minority goes through at the hands of "normal" Muslims.

Racism, gender equality, the sanctity of human life and the overdose epidemic sweeping the U.S. are all important things to discuss, but why isn't religious freedom hanging on the tips of tongues?

It's possible so few care because today's culture is focused only on what they see in the streets. They've become numb to everything else and now all that matters are Kim Kardashian's daily activities and supporting whatever new wave of social justice has become popular.

Everyone is mildly upset when ISIS slits throats and rapes Yazidi women, but many tune-in to stream the executions for entertainment, curiosity or for darker reasons.

Two siblings in Pakistan refused to convert to Islam. The boy was tortured then forced to listen as men took turns raping his teenage sister.

He managed to escape his shackles and run home for help but his sister was already gone. Another victim to Muslim hatred.

But the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl and the suffering her brother aren't enough to move an uncaring audience across the world.

Why?

Is news media over-sensationalizing the deaths of THOUSANDS? Are people uncaring because they watch violent films for entertainment and play violent games for fun? Is it because there's so much death it's normal? Or is it simply because the atrocities aren't happening HERE?

What can we do, anyway? It's not like we have the power to stop Muslims from destroying Christian lives halfway across the globe.

Wait, wait, yeah. We can.

There are several organizations attempting to help Christians who have been enslaved, beaten, who have been run out of their cities, had their homes burned to the ground and who lost loved ones to angry Muslim mobs.

Your Catholic Voice Foundation is just one of the many places you can support those who work to save victims of persecution.

Evil exists around the world. Girls are raped every single day and boys are beaten for next to no reason, but Islam is a religion of hate specifically focusing on the perpetuation of violence toward Christians.

They must REALLY fear the Truth.

Evil can be found anywhere, but Islam is the only religion that encourages it in an effort to force its followers to conform. One step out of line and people are slaughtered.

Children are taught to kill, women are treated with less respect than garbage, anyone who takes a stand is killed and even SUSPECTED insurgents are murdered.

What kind of higher power would want that for his people?

Islam is the embodiment of evil. It isn't too much of a stretch to say the devil himself infected Muslims.

The entire religion promotes violence, strict adherence, murder, rape, slavery and more.

Anyone who tells you different is living in pretty little silver-lined clouds.

Don't shut your eyes to the devil working through an entire religion.

Don't ignore the suffering of your brothers and sisters in faith. Take a stand. Support the organizations fighting hatred in the Middle East.

More, pray for strength, justice and God's righteous wrath against those who harm His children. Don't ever underestimate the power of prayer. If God can raise Lazarus, He can destroy Islam and its perversions.
