Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - In his speech, al-Adnani told his followers: "The tiniest action you do in the heart of their land is dearer to us than the biggest action by us ... there are no innocents in the heart of the lands of the Crusaders."
The attacks are to be conducted during the Muslim holy month of Ramaden, which will begin Sunday, June 5 and will continue until Tuesday, July 5.
According to Wikipedia, Ramadan is normally celebrated as "a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Wuaran to Muhammad."
Interestingly, Muslims are also to "refrain from sinful behavior that may negate the reward of fasting, such as false speech and fighting."
Obviously, ISIS and its extreme version of what a Muslim should be, has been twisted to revel in nothing but hatred and death.
In his speech, al-Adnani encouraged lone wolf attacks "to win the great award of martyrdom" and claimed the United States "fell in the swamp of perdition."
The Caliphate leader mentioned the many losses ISIS has been experiencing on the battlefield and stated the loss of Raqqa and Mosul would not count as a defeat should they be removed from those strongholds because "defeat is the loss of will and the desire to fight."
The recording, titled "Thay They Live By Proof," was released Saturday night and was al-Adnani's first since October.
"Get prepared, be ready...to make it a month of calamity everywhere for the non-believers," al-Adnani stated in a war cry he hopes will result in more terror attacks.
He is considered ISIS' most prominent public figure and his words are taken seriously by the group's followers - but whether ISIS sympathizers will follow through with their leader's call remains to be seen.
