Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - After refusing to accept the "temporary marriages" and the "sexual jihad" being forced on them the women were reportedly butchered, according to Said Mamuzini, a Kurdistan Democratic Party official.
Mamuzini explained to the news agency AhlulBayt, that along with the women being executed, "sometimes the families of the girls were also executed for rejecting to submit to IS's request."
If they are captured into the sex slave life, their fate isn't much more promising. Hundreds of women and young girls have been tortured and raped countless times to please the terrorists. Many have been driven to suicide, because of the horrific life they became trapped in.
"It left me weak, I had nothing to eat, no water, no blankets to cover myself at night. I hated it when he would look at me with his swamp green eyes, and then he would be on top of me," expressed 17-year-old Shirin, an ISIS sex slave who escaped the terror. "I tried to wriggle away, but I was so weak, cold, I couldn't do it. This one was worse than the others, he stunk of sweat, and was filthy. No perfume in the world could ever cover the stink. And his looks were so filthy. He felt like dirty water."
For the women living a "free" life in Mosul, ISIS' northern Iraq stronghold, life is still heavily controlled by the terrorist organization; they are not allowed to go out alone, must be fully covered, and cannot choose their spouses.
News of murdered women come as Turkey continues to fight the war against ISIS. Recently, 32 suspected Islamic State fighters were killed near the Bashiqa military camp and much more have been affected by airstrikes. Iraqi forces have pushed the terrorists out of many of their strongholds around the country, but much is left to be done if we are to see an end to the terrorist's horror.
