'As Saudi Arabia looks set for yet another record breaking year of beheadings, it is more important than ever that its allies ... call for it to stop.'

Despite several rallies against the corruption and constant beheadings, Saudi Arabia continues its brutal murder-spree and apologizes to no one.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The Saudi situation is so dire that a recent documentary in which two women put their lives on the line to obtain footage has been released.

The videos depict beheadings in the streets, permanently blood-stained drains in public squares, women treated worse than second-class-citizens and corpses on public display.

These horrific images is the stuff of nightmares, but an entire country continues to be subjected to the violence on a daily basis.

News of 47 executions in a single day and a rising death toll have led several humanitarian groups to call for change.

According to the Independent, the British Government has been urged to apply pressure on Gulf allies to stop Saudi from reaching a new execution record this year.

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon was reported to have visited Saudi Arabia to "help strengthen the UK-Saudi defence relationship."

He was reported to have met with Saudi defense minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and member of the Saudi Royal family.

The Ministry of Defense reported Aziz saying he "reiterated the importance of working together to deal with global threats, including countering the poisonous ideology of Daesh and regional instability."

Though there was no word on whether the defense ministers spoke of the executions in the country, Harriet McCulloch, the deputy director of the death penalty team at Reprieve, stated:

"The deep injustices of the Saudi system mean that those being sent to the swordsman's blade are in many cases tortured into 'confessing', guilty of nothing more than calling peacefully for reform, or even sentenced to death as children."

Meanwhile, a government spokesperson stated: "The Defense Secretary visited Saudi Arabia to discuss a range of regional issues. The UK is opposed to the death penalty in all circumstances and we make our views well known to Saudi Arabia.

"We have raised these particular cases at the highest levels and will continue to do so. Our expectation remains that the three individuals will not be executed."
