LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - A 15-year-old boy was raped by a man believed to be Abu Zaid al-Jazrawi, who appeared in a video of child soldiers executing prisoners in disgusting game of hide-and-seek.

Though al-Jazrawi raped the teenage boy, he was only flogged and sent to the front lines in Iraq as punishment, while the teen was sentenced to death.

The boy was tied at the wrists and blindfolded before being thrown from a rooftop.

One eyewitness said, "The horrific execution took place in front of a large crowd."

The boy had been captured "in the house of an ISIS leader" on Thursday, media activist Sarai al-Din reported to ARA News, adding, "The boy was accused of being engaged in a homosexual relation with the prominent ISIS officer Abu Zaid al-Jazrawi."

al-Din explained "Abu Zaid was forced to leave Syria and join the fighting fronts in northwestern Iraq. The decision has been taken by the ISIS leadership."

Pro-ISIS sources reported the Sharia Court in Deir ez-Zor demanded the execution of Abu Zaid as well, but top ISIS commanders insisted he be stripped of his position and placed in the front lines in Iraq. The group has been losing battles in both Syria and Iraq, so Abu Zaid's chances of survival were minimal but could be of help.

Civil rights activist Raed Ahmed reported, "Daesh accuses people of being gay only on basis of some superficial information without any investigation. Although the Islamic law bans homosexuality, but the brutal punishment by Daesh has never been witnessed throughout history."
Though there has been no photographic or video evidence of the boy's execution, ISIS is known for upholding radical sharia laws, which includes throwing people accused of homosexuality from rooftops as punishment for their sexual orientation.
