We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

'Before we towed jet skis, motorcycles and quad bikes ... thank God, following God's path, we're towing apostates, infidels who are fighting us.'

The Muslim extremist believed to be the mastermind behind the Paris terror attacks is 27-year-old Abdelhamid Abaaoud. He has appeared in several videos and images smiling and laughing while playing with, dragging, and even posing with corpses.

Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Abaaoud is believed to be in hiding in Syria, but continues to release recruitment videos, urging people to join the terrorist group.

He has called out to Muslims residing in countries around the world, saying: "Are you satisfied with the life you lead, a humiliating life, whether you are in Europe, in Africa, in Arab countries or in America? Are you satisfied with this life, with this life of humiliation? Is there anything better than jihad or a martyr?"

In response to Abaaoud's vile acts, his father admitted great shame. "Why in God's name would he want to kill innocent Belgians?" his father asked. "Our family owes everything to this country."

Abaaoud attended Collčge Saint-Pierre, a prestigious Belgian school, but he was caught attempting to steal something and was jailed. While imprisoned at Saint Gilles, he was radicalized, and upon release, moved to Syria to join ISIS.

Abaaoud's fame quickly grew, even leading him to be featured in an online ISIS magazine called Dabiq. The article within featured his life as a Jihadi.

For the interview, Abaaoud said he moved to Syria in an effort to "terrorise the crusaders waging war against the Muslims," adding, "Belgium is a member of the crusader coalition attacking the Muslims of Iraq and Sham (Syria).

He went on to claim he returned to Belgium to prepare a safe house for future raids across Europe but that his plans failed when "The kuffar raided the pace [sic] with more than 150 soldiers from both French and Balgian special forces units." Since then, French police have admitted Abaaoud planned attacks from his base in Syria with help from ISIS members in Belgium and France.
