Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

MUNTINLUPA CITY, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - ISIS released the video as a response to the formation of the US-Turkish Military. In the video, ISIS urges the Turkish nation to rebel against their President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, referring to him as "Satan."
The United States recently launched a bomb attack on ISIS, using a manned aircraft based on Turkish soil. The Turkish foreign minister agreed with a "comprehensive battle" with the U.S. against ISIS. The U.S. and Turkey are also forming a military coalition to fight against the extremist terrorists.
In response to the actions of the U.S. and Turkey against them, ISIS released the video featuring a fighter speaking in Turkish declaring that the country's president has made his country "a slave to the crusaders." These crusaders are believed to be the Americans.
The terrorist group appealed and urged the Turkish people to rise up against democracy and secularism.
"You need to repent from all the reasons - which are caused by this treacherous Satan (Erdogan) and his friends - that bother you," was the message included in the video. "Those who believe fight on the way of God, while disbelievers fight on the way of Satan."
The first strike against ISIS soil from the U.S. located in Turkey occurred after the two countries agreed to establish an ISIS-free "buffer zone" along the borders in the Southern part of Turkey. Turkey may have already agreed to coordinate with the U.S. for their coordinated operations, yet they continue to initiate their own strikes exclusively focused on the separatists Kurdish rebels.
Turkey remains in a political turmoil as its Prime Minister failed in producing a coalition to rule the body. President Erdogan will return to his position after several weeks of talks and negotiations.
