MUNTINLUPA CITY, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - YouTube footage captures the two terrified women being stalked and hounded, while walking along the promenade in Saudi Arabia. The women, despite wearing burkas, are being blamed for "provoking" and being "indecent" causing the men to harass them.

The outlandish claim is now being supported by a second video, supposedly taken at the same scene where the women were riding a quad-bike to the promenade, with one of them tossing their agal to the men in a "seductive and tempting" manner, leading to the hording incident.

The second video that surfaced "clears" the men from alleged harassment and the women involved in the incident are no longer considered victims by the viewers. Judicial adviser Yehia al-Shahrani even believes the women behaved in a "seductive manner," as he told the Sabq news website.

He further claimed it would be unfair to investigate the men involved in the incident without investigating the women as well. He strongly believes the women seduced and aroused the men into causing the incident.

According to the judge, parents should not allow their daughters out in a public place where young men also go.

Saudi Arabia is known for upholding strict segregation amongst men and women. The first video released sparked a debate on the rights of the women in the country.

Women activists in Saudi Arabia claim that with or without a burka, women in the country continue to be subjected to harassment. Activist Tamador Alyami told the Associated Press that sexual harassment is commonplace in the kingdom. The group encourages the authorities to criminalize such behaviors.

Alyami added, "Harassment is something you see on a daily basis. It's expected and accepted. That's how common it is. It only makes controversy when it's caught on camera."

The life of Saudi women is still being controlled by the men in their family, despite being recently granted the right to vote and run for municipal elections.
