Rector de los salesianos pide en Sinodo hacer que jovenes sientan que la Iglesia los acoge

El P. Angel FernAndez Artime, Rector Mayor de los salesianos, pidio en el Sinodo de los Obispos ser cercanos a los jovenes para que escuchen el "susurro de Dios" y para que sientan que "Jesus les ama y les acoge siempre".

VATICANO (ACI Prensa) - El P. FernAndez hizo este pedido ayer 17 de octubre durante su intervencion en el Sinodo de los Obispos sobre los jovenes, la fe y el discernimiento vocacional. Es necesario hablar de los jovenes como Iglesia con "una palabra fuerte, decidida, y atrevida en su favor en todas las naciones de nuestras Iglesias locales".
El Rector Mayor de los salesianos, que participa como padre sinodal, relato que al visitar las iniciativas que la congregacion tiene en el mundo, ha podido ver muchas iglesias "llenas de jovenes inmigrantes y sus familias".
"Estos son nuestros jovenes, con sus familias, que ademAs traen aire fresco de fe a nuestras Iglesias"; sin embargo, advirtio que al mismo tiempo "crece el rechazo, los miedos, la intolerancia y la xenofobia".
En esta linea, el P. Fernandez invito a los padres sinodales a ser cercanos a los jovenes y que se sientan queridos por la Iglesia.
"Nuestros jovenes deben escucharnos decir que les queremos y que queremos hacer camino de vida y de fe junto a ellos", insistio.
"Deben sentir que ni queremos dirigir sus vidas, ni dictarles como deben vivir, sino que queremos compartir con ellos lo mejor que tenemos que es: Jesucristo el Señor. Han de sentir que estamos aqui para ellos, si nos lo permiten, compartiendo sus gozos y esperanzas, sus alegrias, dolores y lAgrimas, su confusion o su busqueda de sentido, su vocacion, su presente y futuro", destaco.
Al finalizar, el P. Angel FernAndez artime exhorto al sinodo a buscar que los jovenes experimenten el rostro cercano de la Iglesia. "Han de sentir que les susurramos a Dios" para que a través de "nuestra pobre mediacion" sientan que "Jesus les ama y les acoge siempre" y asi, entonces, "todo habra merecido la pena", concluyo.
