Ante escandalos de abusos, Cardenal pide mirar tambien la multitud de sacerdotes fieles

El Presidente de la Conferencia Episcopal Italiana (CEI), Cardenal Gualtiero Bassetti, llamo a los catolicos a que junto a la plaga de los abusos sexuales que golpea a la Iglesia, se mire tambien a "la multitud de sacerdotes fieles y pobres que aman a la gente".

ROMA (ACI Prensa) - El Purpurado dio estas palabras durante una entrevista con TV2000. "Han sucedido cosas terribles, pero tambien hay una multitud de sacerdotes fieles que aman a la gente".
En sus declaraciones brindadas este 23 de septiembre, el Cardenal Bassetti lamento los escandalos de abusos sexuales cometidos por miembros del clero que se han conocido en los ultimos tiempos.
"El Evangelio dice que es bueno que vengan los escandalos siempre que se manifieste la verdad, porque el escandalo mas grande seria que se cubra la verdad", advirtio.
El Presidente de la CEI señalo que "los escandalos en la Iglesia siempre han existido y ciertamente hoy son expuestos a traves de los medios de comunicacion que no eran asi de eficaces en su crudeza. Son hechos verdaderamente terribles que escarapelan la piel. Delante de todo esto expresamos nuestra condena como la expresaria el Señor".
Sin embargo, dijo a los catolicos a que "junto a estas plagas en la Iglesia debemos mirar a la multitud de sacerdotes fieles y pobres que aman a la gente".
"Hablando con los demas obispos de la Conferencia Episcopal de Europa escuche decir esto: â€~La suya es todavia una Iglesia del pueblo porque los sacerdotes estan con la gente y aman a la gente†", afirmo.
"Por estos motivos positivos de nuestra Iglesia â€"indicoâ€", es que debemos hacer palanca, condenando el escandalo. Yo juzgo el escandalo, no la persona, esta se encontrara delante de Dios".
