'There is an explanation: she had schizophrenia.'

"Killer Nanny" Gyulchehra Bobokulova is not being labeled a terrorist as officials uncover her disturbing mental history, which indicates she has suffered from schizophrenia for years.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Bobokulova, who decapitated 4-year-old Anastasia Meshcheryakova and walked the streets calling "I hate democracy" and "Allahu Akbar," was found to suffer from an ever-worsening case of schizophrenia.

Her mental disorder has already turned officials from labeling her a gruesome murderer and arson and leading them to believe her actions were most likely the result of mental distress, not an act of terrorism.

A police source in Moscow stated: "The parents of Bobokulova and her husband were called to police for interrogation. They spent [a] full day in [the] police [station], and on Tuesday morning the interrogation continued.

"I can tell you one thing - the relatives are shocked with the cruel murder but they were not surprised. They know very well why Gyulchekhra did it. Everybody here knew Gyulchekhra. She was a strange woman, to put it mildly. There is an explanation: she had schizophrenia."

Daily Mail reported the Killer Nanny was a divorced mother of three who married an already married man and accepted the title "second wife."

When her unofficial husband disappeared, she was abandoned and, as everyone in her hometown knew of her mental disorder, she was unable to find work.

The official continued, explaining how Bobokulova was registered at her local psychiatric clinic, that everyone knew of her mental illness so they refused to hire her and that her condition continued to worsen.

In an attempt to find work, she moved to Moscow, found a nanny position, and went home for holidays and new years.

The official commented that Bobokulova "fooled the medical commission in Russia" and that "people here were talking about it. She did not take any medical documents with her. She did not tell anybody about her condition. ...In 2000 Gyulchekhra was officially registered as an [sick] insane."

Currently, officials reported Bobokulova has been cooperating with investigators and explained that she strangled little Anastasia, then used a kitchen knife to decapitate her.

Police sources explain Bobokulova confessed and, despite her claims of being a terrorist, Russian authorities have yet to discover any ties she has with extremist groups.

When she was brought to the scene of the crime, Bobokulova told officials: "I came here and took off my skirt, threw it in a rubbish bin. Got changed into what we wear to have prayer. A voice told me to wear so."

A woman from the crowd overseeing Bobokulova's visit cried, "You killed a child! Your head needs to be torn off!"

Meanwhile, people have created a memorial of flowers and toys for Anastasia outside the apartment she shared with her family.
