Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - A spokesman for the intelligence service in the southern state of Bavaria said the Muslim radicals "are trying to approach the young unaccompanied refugees, who arrive in our country without their families and are particularly looking for contacts and support."

The spokesman also added that many of the young men from Hungary and Austria were being approached at reception centers as well as the Munich railway station.

Intelligence services in North Rhine-Westphalia stated the Islamist extremists pretended to be working for fake charities in an attempt to earn trust.

In a statement he also mentioned, "We are going to inform the employees of the reception centers and make them aware of this situation and the methods used for these attempts to approach the young refugees." It is assumed that the Islamist radicals are taking advantage of the current plight of the refugees.

North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria are the two regions in Germany that received the highest number of migrants,  21 percent and 15 percent respectively, based on the quota system of the country.

A total of 800,000 refugees are expected to arrive in Germany within this year, which is four times higher than last year's influx. Most of the migrants came from Syria.
